Little Miss Pampered was the most selfish person in the whole town of Money Ville. Her dad, Mr. Millionaire, gave her a copious amount of gifts that anybody could dream of having like diamonds from around the world. Little Miss Pampered was as loud as an alarm clock; she never stopped whining and complaining about how she never had anything. She lived in a castle that was perched on top of a hill overlooking the rest of Money Ville’s quant little cottages. Little Mrs. No was her best friend and she always came over to play, they had everything in common. Of course, Little Miss Pampered had her own butler, a huge room and anything a girl could dream of having, but she wasn’t satisfied.
One day, Mr. Millionaire and Little Miss Pampered went for a stroll in the park. When Mr. Millionaire moved here, he specifically wanted money trees. So, everywhere he looked there were money trees guarded by Mr. Protection. All of a sudden Mr. Normal walked up to them and asked if they could donate some money to help his family. But, right of the bat they screamed, “NO!” Mr. Normal was left, standing in the middle of the park looking into the distance at Mr. Millionaire and Little Miss Pampered ignoring everybody in there way
“Never be one of them,” exclaimed Mr. Millionaire.
“Don’t worry daddy, I’m proper and well taught, I will never become a poor person who lives in a cottage,” Little Miss Pampered screamed as she looked around to see if anybody didn’t hear her.
The next morning, Little Miss Pampered woke up to the birds singing and her heart full of glee.
“Today it is going to be all about me,” thought Little Misses Pampered. She walked down her golden staircase and was greeted to a huge present in the kitchen.
“Good morning my darling,” yelled Mr. Millionaire as he baked a big batch of pancakes. Little Miss Pampered dashed to the present wrapped in money and opened the box in total shock. She was blinded by jewelry scattered all over a dollhouse that looked exactly like her house. She loved it and suddenly went over to call Little Mrs. No. They played dolls and dress up until the sun started to set and they couldn’t open their eyes to even brush the dolls hair.
Little Miss Pampered was eating a gourmet breakfast when all of a sudden the doorbell rang. She was hoping it was going to be Little Mrs. No, but it wasn’t.
“Hello, I’m Mr. Helpful,” mentioned Mr. Helpful, “I heard from a little bird that you don’t like to help people, is that right?”
“Well, that is kind of right,” whispered Little Miss Pampered nervously.
“ Well then, I was wondering if you wanted to come on a African Safari with me,” asked Mr. Helpful.
Surprised, Little Miss Pampered replied, “ Yes, I would love to!”
“Great,” remarked Mr. Helpful as he walked out the door.
But what little miss pampered didn’t know, was the safari trip was to help build shelters for the homeless in a small village called, Tribe Town.
So, today was the day that Little Misses Pampered was going on the African safari. She already had her pink suitcase packed full of her most valuable items. She gave her dad a hug, sobbing wet, and was on her way with Mr. Helpful to Africa. Later, they were just about to land in Africa and Little Misses Pampered was ecstatic. But, when Little Miss Pampered got of the jet, she was disillusioned. They landed in a village where everybody was wearing ratty clothes and they were living in shacks.
“Ready to get to work?” asked Mr. Helpful.
“WORK,” screamed Little Miss Pampered, “I thought we were going to see the sights and have fun, not work!”
“Oh yeah, I forgot to explain that one little detail,” supposed Mr. Helpful as he handed her some tools and a hard hat.
Little Miss Pampered tried to call her dad but one of the villagers snatched the phone and threw it in the river. Suddenly she thought, “if I’m here, I might as well do some work to actually feel entertained.” Then she walked over to assist Mr. Helpful build a house. The day was over, all of her clothes were in rags and her feet were killing her. But her heart felt good, it felt different. That week, she realized what little all of these villagers have but how much she does have. She hated that feeling and it got worse and worse everyday. When the safari trip was over, Mr. Helpful and Little Miss Pampered headed back home to Money Ville.
When Little Miss Pampered walked inside her door, a light bulb went off over her head. She told Mr. Millionaire the idea and the more he heard about it, the more he liked it. So, the following day, Little Miss Pampered, Mr. Millionaire and Mr. Helpful donated thousands of dollars to local charities and orphanages. Also, they shipped supplies and money to the village in Africa. But her heart still didn’t feel at it’s fullest potential, so she went over to Mr. Normal’s house. Then she gave him food, money, and supplies to help his family. Now, her heart felt great!
